R.I.P. Teddy Pendergrass (3/26/1950-01/13/2010)
Today we lost R&B legend Teddy Pendergrass, who passed away from complications relating to cancer. The esteemed Philly vocalist started off as a member of Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes before going solo. My favorite Teddy song is “You Know How To Love Me” by Harold Melvin and The Bluenotes, but there were so many others like “Wake Up Everybody” and his solo joint “Love TKO.” Teddy may no longer be with us, but his music will live for ever.
